1909 26' Atlantic Boat Company Laker

Updated: Aug 1

This Atlantic Boat Company laker was original used in the lakes region of NH as a service boat well into the 1950' It was a barn find for my father in the early 80'. He completed a keel up restoration and floated it again the early 90' It was original configured with a 2 cylinder engine. My father decided to make it an electric boat with PVs on the roof to charge the batteries. My parents cruised silently around the head of the lake (winnisquam), being able get up and close to the loons. The boat became a barn store again in the early 2000' until my father shipped it to me in Alabama, (Lake Martin) It has been sitting in my workshop for 6 years and I have done a bit of dismantling to do determine the extent of repairs, mainly to a few deck boards and a refinishing of the haul, etc. The 2 hp motor and the related controls for the electrics are in place. New batteries will be needed, if the new caretaker wants to continue with the electric motor. The canopy is gone, but the oak posts are still in great shape. I just don't have the interest in refinishing it. There is a trailer for it. I am willing to deliver it to anywhere on the eastern seaboard since I am still traveling to NH regularly to check on my father.

Price: $3,500 - delivery included (east coast)
